For the fourth year in a row, SAKG participated in Summer Bowl for Kids’ Sake, a fundraiser hosted by Big Brothers Big Sisters Kansas City! As the nation’s largest donor- and volunteer-supported mentoring network, Big Brothers Big Sisters makes meaningful, monitored matches between adult volunteers and children, ages 5 through young adulthood in communities across the country.
Our two teams, Bowl-able Hours and Striking the Record, raised $3000 for the cause, contributing towards BBBSKC’s event goal of $775,000. After fundraising, the team joined BBBSKC staff for bowling at Park Lanes in Shawnee, KS.
