SAKG Attorney Paula Brown Speaks at National Conference in Phoenix, Arizona
Paula Brown spoke on an unusual topic at the fall conference of the National Association of Railroad Trial Counsel, which was held on October 27-30, 2019 in Phoenix, Arizona.
Paula, whose practice includes railroad defense work, focused on how she and partner Brent Coverdale obtained a $6 million verdict on behalf of a plaintiff in an employment-related case that the defense thought was worth $25,000. In her presentation, Paula explained how similar arguments could be used by plaintiffs in railroad cases and proposed some counter-arguments and techniques to reduce the chance of huge verdicts.
Paula enjoys a varied practice at SAKG, successfully representing clients in both defense and plaintiff’s cases.
